The details aren’t official yet, but based on our current understanding, Cardano wallets that are CIP-30 compliant and can connect to DApps will be able to verify their wallets.

What About Wallets on Other Chains Other than Cardano?
We don’t yet know which wallets will be supported on other chains. We can only assume that the major wallets, such as MetaMask, will be supported.
Is Daedalus Supported for the Midnight GlacierDrop Airdrop?
At this point, it doesn’t appear to be supported, as there is no clear indication that non-CIP-30 wallets will be supported. More information will be posted soon for Daedalus and other similar wallets.
Why Do I Need to Create a New Wallet to Receive My $NIGHT Tokens?
You need to create a new wallet, as this will help protect your privacy. An old wallet with a transaction history can be traced, and identifiable pieces of information can be found. A fresh new wallet with no links and ties back to existing transactions lets you start fresh and preserve your privacy.
I Don’t Want To Connect My Wallet to a Strange Website.
This is a valid concern for many users. Wallets in the Cardano ecosystem specifically will show you what they are doing and what you are signing a transaction for. If you see assets leaving your wallet in your signing prompt, then there is most certainly something wrong.
The signing method for the GlacierDrop (Airdrop) is suspected to be a simple message signing as opposed to a transaction, which means it will cost you nothing for the process.
This is an assumption at present, and no clear information about this process is currently available.
I Have My ADA on Coinbase, Will I Get The $NIGHT Airdrop?
According to the whitepaper, at this point, no.
Since you do not own the keys to the wallet that holds that ADA, you will not be able to sign the transaction to claim the tokens.
The exchange will have to do this on your behalf. It isn’t out of the question, but you will need to contact the exchange directly.
Where is the Midnight Claim Portal?
At this point, it isn’t live yet.
This post will be updated when the Midnight Claim Portal to claim the NIGHT token is live.
When is the Midnight Snapshot?
The snapshot for the Midnight airdrop has already happened.
According to social media and the whitepaper, the snapshot on all chains occurred on June 11, 2025, at 00:00 UTC.
If you didn’t have assets in your wallet before that time and date, then it is likely that you’re wallet balance isn’t included in the snapshot.
Is My Exodus Wallet Eligible for the NIGHT Midnight Airdrop?
At this point, we are unsure if the wallet will be supported, as you cannot connect Exodus to a Cardano DApp website to sign a transaction or message.
