## Lesson 2.5 – Creating and Using Sub-Accounts
Each sub-account is a unique Cardano address derived from your main wallet seed phrase. Sub-accounts are useful for separating funds or delegation strategies.
## How to Create a Sub-Account
1. Open your wallet in Eternl.
2. Click the wallet icon.
3. Select “Add Account”.
4. Name your account (e.g. Savings, Voting).
5. Start using it independently from your other accounts.
## Notes
– Sub-accounts use the same recovery phrase.
– Each can delegate separately to a different pool.
