EP013 – Explaining the Basic Concepts of Cardano to Martina

Peter Bui - Learn Cardano Podcast

Episode by Peter Bui on June 22nd, 2021

In this podcast episode, I bring in Martina, my partner to talk about all the concepts around blockchain and Cardano that we have covered in the last 12 episodes of the podcast.

Martina is a long time holder of various cryptocurrencies and knows very little about Cardano, Proof of Stake, DeFi and other concepts that have evolved int he crypto space over the last 3 years.

Martina asks the questions and break down all the concepts until the penny drops and the concepts all sink in.

Leave a comment and let us know if you want Martina on the show more often to ask some of the questions that I would normally gloss over as I assume you all already know.

  1. First, let me say that I really love your podcast (I found you on Google Podcasts, and I now proudly delegate to your pool). I am several months into crypto and with my little knowledge of the benefits of Blockchain technology, I became a Cardano believer. Your podcast is very informative and you are good at breaking things down in simple terms a newbie can understand, yet still have complex and interesting content that challenges me 😊.

Anyway that is why I had to post here that I loved this episode. I like that Martina represents the demographic of crypto supporters that aren’t Blockchain savvy. Her questions are blunt yet innocent… they were the same questions I would have asked, lol. It was funny how you may have been thrown off a bit by her questions and you are very patient with your answers. Great chemistry, it would be cool to hear her on the show again.

    1. I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed this episode Latasha 😊. It was fun putting Peter in the hot seat, he has a great way of simplifying things to us less tech/Blockchain savvy peeps. I’d love to make a reappearance on the show (if Peter can handle it haha), I actually learned a lot through this conversation!
