Performing a Swap on MinSwap

For this tutorial, we are assuming that you have a Cardano native wallet setup, connected to the DEX and funded with ADA.

To swap tokens on the MinSwap DEX, follow these steps:

1. Connect your wallet: Visit the MinSwap website and click on “Connect Wallet” in the upper right corner. Select your wallet from the list of compatible options and follow the prompts to connect it to MinSwap.
2. Select tokens to swap: On the MinSwap dashboard, you’ll see an interface with two dropdown menus for selecting tokens. In the first dropdown, choose the token you want to swap from (input token). In the second dropdown, select the token you want to receive (output token).
3. Enter the swap amount: Input the amount of the input token you want to swap. The DEX will automatically calculate the estimated amount of output tokens you’ll receive, based on the current exchange rate.
4. Review the details: Check the exchange rate, slippage tolerance, and any fees associated with the transaction. Adjust the settings if necessary.
5. Initiate the swap: Click the “Swap” or “Confirm Swap” button. A prompt will appear for you to confirm the transaction in your connected wallet.
6. Confirm the transaction: Review the transaction details in your wallet and approve it. Once the transaction is confirmed on the Cardano blockchain, the swapped tokens will be available in your wallet.
